WEB3 City Life
I think of Hive as a digital city that has its own inherent economy, communities, and way of life. Being a true Hiver means you are actively involved with “city life”. For me, that includes posting daily long-form content, as well as engaging and communicating with citizens of the various communities within the Hive ecosystem. My Hive journey was actually initiated via Leofinance and has remained the primary focus of my Hive “lifestyle”.
This is largely because the majority of my content is either Crypto or finance related. It’s well suited to my interests and focus and has an extremely active user base. We are beginning to see this increase even further as Threads continues to attract new monthly active users. As I have addressed previously, adjustments in terms of tokenomics and other crucial aspects have caused me to become somewhat bullish on the LEO token long-term.
This has further encouraged me to focus a lot more attention and energy on the building and development of my LEO stack. One of the ways I intend to do this is by purchasing more LEO with some of the other HE tokens I can accumulate via my on-chain activity. At the end of the day, you have to look at where you envision growth, appreciation, and adoption. These are all factors that ultimately lead to token appreciation. For me, apart from HIVE itself, LEO holds the most promise.
If this is indeed my conviction, then I have to adjust my actions to align significantly with my perspective. Later today, I will be taking a look at what I can swap out for a little more LEO. I will look at doing this every so often. It also provides more buying support, especially if more “Lions” adopt this approach. The daily volume for LEO on LEODEX is still remarkably low, and an increase in buyers can positively enhance the price. It is very much this dynamic that pushed the price of LEO to $1.21 in 2021.
A Great Time To Stack
In general, I believe this to be a great time to be practicing dollar-cost averaging. In my opinion, we are in the final stages of accumulation before things really heat up in 2024. In terms of LEO, the potential upside is even further enhanced by all the recent development and adjustments to tokenomics. This is typically what I tend to seek out when in search of potential altcoin gems… a project that has experienced enhancement and development and is subsequently geared towards increased adoption and demand.
LEO Ticks Both Boxes
Leofinance has managed to tick both of the above-mentioned boxes. Firstly, the economic model is now a lot more viable due to an adjustment in tokenomics, and secondly, there is an expansion in terms of Threads and the introduction of Communities. Both of these additions open up Leofinance to the entire Hive ecosystem, which gives the platform an enormous upper hand when compared to other second-layer communities within the ecosystem.

Sure, action does not necessarily imply success. However, it’s the only aspect an investor can work with. Nobody knows the future, so all we can do is pay attention to the dynamics that have secured success in the past. This is how we arrived at the following Crypto investment rule for success:
An altcoin must solve a real-world problem and/or offer real utility in terms of a use case and incentive to acquire and hold the coin or token.
This is often referred to as a non-negotiable regarding altcoin investing and is largely responsible for many choosing to ignore memecoins. Essentially, the majority of these fail. Dogecoin is a unique case, as it has a lengthy history of dedicated hodlers who chose to walk a path that eventually brought about a level of success.
Final Thoughts
Investing in micro-caps is an extremely challenging and risky endeavor. However, LEO seems to show a lot of promise. Furthermore, thanks to the economics of Hive, users can earn HIVE and LEO without actually having to part with their own funds. This can reduce the risk aspect quite considerably, especially if that’s the only way you choose to accumulate LEO. Either way, there is a lot that lies in favor of LEO performing relatively well over the next two years.
Altcoin investors are now running out of time. Whichever way you choose to approach this aspect of Crypto investing… now is the time! As always, these are merely my own thoughts and interpretations of the market. Have a great weekend, and catch you next time!
